Everything you need to know about participating in the program
Restaurants and individuals can donate excess prepared meals, untouched buffet items, fresh produce, and unopened packaged foods. All donated food must meet basic safety and hygiene standards to ensure it can be safely distributed to those in need.
Once a restaurant or volunteer posts a food donation request, NGOs or volunteer drivers nearby are notified.They confirm the pickup, coordinate the time and location, and ensure safe transportation of the food to people who need it.
We follow strict food safety protocols. All donated food is properly stored and transported according to health department guidelines. Our team is trained in food safety practices, and we use specialized equipment to maintain proper temperatures throughout transit.
As often as you'd like! Some restaurants donate daily, others weekly. You can set a regular schedule or just notify us when you have surplus. Our system is completely flexible to accommodate your needs and food availability.
