Liability & Waivers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Socionet and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our platform or services.

"As Is" Service

Our platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or suitability of our services for your specific needs.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Socionet and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Intellectual Property

This section addresses intellectual property rights on our platform:

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and post on Socionet. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute your content in connection with our services.

Our Intellectual Property

The Socionet name, logo, software, and all content provided by us are protected by intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to Socionet. You may not use, copy, or distribute these materials without our permission.

If you believe your copyright-protected work has been posted on Socionet without authorization, you may submit a copyright infringement notification. Please provide specific information about the alleged infringement, including identification of the copyrighted work and the infringing material.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between you and Socionet:

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute promptly through negotiation.

Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court. Arbitration proceedings will be conducted according to the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Some jurisdictions may not allow the enforcement of some provisions of this section, in which case those provisions will be unenforceable only to the extent required by law.

Changes to Agreement

Modifications

We may modify this agreement at any time by posting the revised terms on our website. Your continued use of Socionet after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

Notice of Changes

For material changes to this agreement, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, such as through a service notification or email to the address associated with your account.
